RedShift Privacy Policy

Redshift Legal, Inc. (“RedShift”) is committed to protecting all of the personal information you provide via RedShiftLegal.com. Personal information RedShift collects may include, your name, address, telephone and/or fax number, credit card information, and email address. RedShift will use personal information only in ways that are compatible with the purposes for which it was collected or subsequently authorized by you. RedShift will also take reasonable steps to ensure that your personal information is relevant to its intended use, accurate, complete, and current.

Changes in policy will be posted on the RedShiftLegal.com website. However, RedShift will not use any information you have submitted to us in a manner that is inconsistent with the policy described here.


Use of Personal Information


Any personal information you provide via RedShiftLegal.com will be used to enhance your experience with RedShift and will not be sold or traded to others.

  

Email Addresses: RedShift collects email address information from you when you order a RedShift product or service, register for a webinar or conference, enter your email address on our website, publish your name and email address on a public website, subscribe to a newsletter, or provide your email address on one of our surveys or forms, when speaking to one of our customer service representatives, or when your firm/employer provides it to us pursuant to a contractual relationship between RedShift and your firm/employer. RedShift collects email address information from you so that RedShift may confirm and/or deliver your purchase, communicate with you regarding your order or registration, and alert you of other RedShift programs, products, and services that may be of interest to you. You have the right to opt-out of receiving email contact from RedShift in the manner described in the Opting Out section, below.


Telephone Numbers: if you supply your telephone number to RedShift, you may receive telephone contact from us with information regarding orders you have placed, new products and services, or information on upcoming events. You have the right to opt-out of receiving telephone contact from RedShift in the manner described in the Opting Out section, below.


Mailing Addresses: RedShift collects mailing address information from you so that we may fulfill the orders you submit to us and inform you of RedShift programs, products, and services in which you may be interested. You have the right to opt-out of receiving postal mail contact from RedShift in the manner described in the Opting Out section, below.


Credit Card Information: RedShift collects your credit card information when you pay by that method. RedShift uses the information only to obtain payment for the RedShift programs, products, and services you purchase. RedShift uses other third parties to provide credit card processing on our site. When you sign up for a service or order a product, RedShift will share your contact information and credit card details as necessary for the third party to provide this service. These third parties are prohibited from using your personal information for any other purpose including their own marketing purposes.

 

RedShift does not share your credit card information with any third parties except as described in this privacy policy.


Opting Out


To opt out of being contacted by RedShift in any or all of the formats listed above, please send an email to privacy@redshiftlegal.com, or complete the Unsubscribe form linked to any RedShift marketing and/or promotional email. RedShift does not sell, rent, or otherwise release your telephone number to any third party, nor do we use it for any purpose other than what is stated in this privacy policy.


Surveys


From time-to-time, RedShift may provide you the opportunity to participate in a survey. If you participate, RedShift will request certain personal information from you. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you therefore have a choice whether or not to disclose the requested information.

 

RedShift uses this information to improve the RedShiftLegal.com site performance and the content RedShift provides.


Data Retention 


RedShift will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that RedShift no longer use your information to provide you services contact us at privacy@redshiftlegal.com. RedShift will, however, retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
